This single pressure CPAP machine is designed to use Bluetooth wireless technology and the proven C-Flex pressure relief feature. A new feature called SmartRamp has been developed to gradually adjust the user to CPAP therapy. For even more comfort, an option heated humidifier and heated tube can be utilized. By adding these items, dryness in the throat and rainout in the tube, can now be resolved. The new Adaptive Humidification mode can be turned on, which will check your bedroom humidity levels and automatically adjust heat settings to provide the best humidification possible.

Bluetooth

The integrated Bluetooth allows you to connect the DreamStation CPAP machine directly with the PR DreamMapper mobile and web-based program. The SleepMapper app can be downloaded for free onto a smartphone or tablet (not included). You can then easily review detailed sleep results and check nightly results..

C-Flex Technology

Philips Respironics designed the DreamStation CPAP to breathe with you, not against you. The built in C-Flex option provides pressure relief upon exhalation to improve comfort based on your needs. C-Flex provides pressure relief at the beginning of exhalation while softening pressure transition from inhalation to exhalation helps mirror the users natural breathing.

OPTIONAL Heated Humidifier

The optional Heated Humidifier is the top add-on with our CPAP customers.  The small humidifier clicks in to the back of the CPAP machine, allowing a perfect integration.  This humidifier provides an even flow of moist warm air and even has a Preheat feature which warms the water chamber 30 minutes in advance.  For more added comfort, the optional heated tube can be added to provide the more efficient flow of humidification with no rain-out or condensation effects. The temperature can be adjusted with the control dial, or placed in Adaptive Mode.  Adaptive Mode will monitor ambient humidity levels and automatically adjust your humidifier settings to provide optimum humidification.

Ramp and SmartRamp

A ramp feature on any CPAP is designed to gradually increase pressure over a certain amount of time.  For example, The DreamStation CPAP ramp can be set to begin pressure at 4cm H20 and increase pressure to 10cm H20 over a 25 minute time period.  The new SmartRamp feature will monitor your CPAP therapy levels during the ramp period and deliver lower overall pressure until it detects an obstructive respiratory event. When an event is detected SmartRamp responds to resolve the event, raising pressures as required until the ramp period concludes. Once your prescribed pressure is reached, the CPAP will then operate at it's intended fixed pressure method.
